This guide explains how to connect with RDP via desktop. Remote Desktop, also known as Remote Desktop Services (RDS) or Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), can be used on Windows, iOS, or Android devices to connect to any machine, regardless of location. This Microsoft Windows service allows users to remotely access and control Windows PCs from another computer.

Follow the steps:

  1. Click the “Start” button.
  2. Click “Run”.
  3. In the prompt, enter-

  4. Click on “OK” button.
  5. Enter the RDP IP address and click Connect.

  6. Click on “Use another account”.
  7. Type in the username and password, then click OK.

  8. Optionally, check “Remember my credentials” and click OK.
  9. Check “Don’t ask me again for connections to this computer” and click Yes.
  10. You are now connected.
